Dragon Story and Fantasy Forest Story syncing up events?

I have been wishing that DS and FFS events would sync up, meaning that if DS is having a Leaderboard, I wish FFS would do one at the same time, and the same for the other types of events. I see that they are now synced (for now). Is that the reason that the one DS event was abruptly cut short? So that things could get aligned? I sincerely hope that it continues to be this way. I'm an intelligent person, but it was sometimes hard to remember when switching back and forth between games that for instance, I would get points for feeding a dragon if DS was doing a LB, but I would not get points for feeding animals in FFS if they were doing a WE instead. Also got confusing as to when I would get credit for harvesting food and when I wouldn't. So if this trend is going to continue, my wish came true! Can any mods confirm that this is how it is going to be from now on?
