Why are there never new events?

Wondering why in Restaurant Story 2 we always get events with reused content and reused items? I mean last month we got a few new decorations but its not the same. It has been more than a year since we got a cruise with all new decorations, recipes, and a new character. In the past we used to get everything new with new quest formats and updates and stuff. Why have the normal limited time quests stopped and been replace by the constantly repeated "Lani's Goals?"
