I do not have a "blue task" afaik. I got a blue phoenix spawn from pond (10 hp), which dropped a blue feather, fur and rat tail. I got a blue tassel from my mine. Also, my pink tassel came from a regular chicken. For what that's worth.
After you craft a pink lantern in workshop, it unlocks the ability to craft green. But we will be waiting on Ivy. :-(

I bought a couple of the 50gem chest in the market looking for some mysterious egg...sigh, chest gave me 17 fans then 19 fans. The chest I won gave 17 fans and a blue floating lantern deco.
I don't know about other costumed chickens, but the gnome chickens are dropping. The spring chicks don't seem to be though (15 collections from chicks). The pink chicken doesn't seem to be either, but only 4 collections from him so far so that might be wrong.
My trees are glitchy. I click on them, XP, but no flower. Resets immediately. Only one of my trees worked. Off to a great start!
Stopped playing DS because of LB.
Rats. So it's a mystery as of now of how we get an egg to hatch. Unless maybe from the adventure/trade.
It's not a glitch. It' on purpose - drop occasionally.
