Already made drinks expire?

I had a bunch of drinks made before I went to bed, put a chair in front of my door, and then in the morning all my drinks were gone!
Is this a bug or just something that happens w/ this particular game?

This is the same glitch that occurs in RS and BS when you block the door. I don't know if this will work, but block the door with and item that is not a floor or a chair.

I've never had the problem, either: then again, I've never blocked my door.

I don't have that problem in RS and BS, but in NS, drinks disappear when I block the door also.

Blocking the door is not a by-design game mechanic, so it won't work 100% of the time. Sorry for the trouble.

I have the same problem but I'm getting paid. Why isn't there a feature to close our businesses?
