Missing gold

Im missing 11 gold. I had 11 more gold the last time I was on the game. The game froze and screen wouldn't move so I had to reload it. Upon reloading I got the info banners which I dont typically get throughout the day. Now I noticed i have 11 less.gold. I didn't spend gold on anything. Anyone else have this problem today? Seems the game has been freezing alot today. I feel like the freezing up and subsequent reload/ info banner pop up is due to storm 8 forcing out an update to remedy their bugs (or errors) related to the new event. Like British dragon back in the shop, ect. But somehow these have cost me gold?
