02/02 Update: Baron's Tent Prizes (Feb 2018)

Can anyone tell me what type of dragon that is so i can look up its drops?

it's a fireworks dragon. has regular dragon drops

Got myself "pick chicken", which was described as "Pink chicken - normal chook stuff plus chocolate eggs. Can drop golden egg but not nugget". Unfortunately there are no drops whatsoever (not even eggs). Is this normal, or should be reported as an error?

Nope, I only have one Hut - the second one from tokens in the monster hunt. I have five Skelicorns, four aqua Ali?s, and a mix of five other daily ali?s. These are all from the cabbage hut. Well worth it... even if I never get anything else.

Honestly, S8 can?t offer an Ali too frequently, and when they do, everybody complains that it wasn?t available long enough. And when they don?t, everybody complains that nothing good is offered, that everything is a repeat.

Personally, I am hoping for repeats of the pie carts! :-)

Seems to have worked out for you personally. OK. But I paid 450 gems. A lot of us did. The idea is to get a variety of items in the tent, not the same old useless repetitions FOR MONTHS. Yes, let them bring the pie carts, but no, they bring back dogs and cats....

Usually the first 5 or so taps on any animal don't give you any drops since they are babies and you are "feeding" them to grow. If you're not getting any drops, chances are it's still a baby.

I too have several daily Alis. But many of those, I got back when I had to purchase extra cabbages to ‘win’ them, and some were from the Black Friday sales, since they do not seem to show up in my tent very often. I did manage to get 6 skelicorns, but that is only because they left the Halloween prizes in the tent for 3 months that round. It is ironic, because they are my least favorite design. But energy is energy, no matter the package it arrives in, so if the skellies ever come back, I plan to ‘win’ more.

Therefore, I am still of the opinion that the Baron’s tent has been sadly neglected since players now have the ability to acquire a second cabbage hut. I realize not everyone has two huts, but it isn’t about who has two, it is about the fact that we now can have two. Now that we have more cabbages to throw, we have less motivation to throw them.

They don’t have to put Alis in every month, and I can understand why they don’t. (However, it would be nice for the newer players who only recently gained access to the tent/hut, if Alis did show up a bit more frequently). And they can certainly add new prizes, or at least read player suggestions and recycle desirable prizes, such as the pie carts.

Between the endless repetition of Winter Garden, etc... and the non stop parade of dogs and cats... well, I have amassed quite the cabbage collection, in case anything I want or need comes through again! And it would be nice if we could select our own prize - or there was a pattern to the prizes on offer instead of being random. Nothing is more frustrating than hoping for a prize and having a repeat stay on offer all week.

I totally agree with you there! There have been a few decent prizes, but they are few and far between. And they may or may not even show up in tent. They released the pigeon cage twice, the second time I think they only left it about 3 weeks...anyway, through two releases it never showed up even once in my tent, and for some reason, I just want it. Lol
I cannot even say how many times I had the Sphinx cat, or the winter picnic.
One month I actually kept a tally in the thread (along with several other players). It was actually depressing.
There has to be a better way. I think all prizes should cycle through the tent at least once before they start repeating. It really is frustrating to see the same prize several times in a row and not see others at all.

Hopefully, S8 will soon feel like being generous and send us some better prizes. In the meantime, we save cabbages.

That is the worst! I don't know how many times we've all made suggestions on the Tent and most that I've read have been good ideas that wouldn't affect S8 or the over-all game economy in any negative way and still things remain the same. For example I'm of the mind that if they just had the prizes cycle through in a consistent manner, it would help ease most of the ill feelings about the total randomness of the prizes. To be honest, I miss that feeling of clicking on the tent and having that moment of anticipation race through me wondering which prize I'll see. In the meantime, I'll just hoard my cabbages live in the hope of one day having new and exciting prizes again.
