It works fine for me. I finished the gnome event, finally had 1000 crowns and bought Maya.

After reading the forum I got worried and looked for her but couldn’t find her walking around my kingdom and I realized that I had to go to Town Square - Town Hall and check her in.

First goal was to visit a cottage and give a hearty stew. The reward was Alcina the horse.

Second goal was to collect from Alcina, she has a 4 hour timer. Not sure what she gave other than a blue card. Reward was the Crystal Ball

After 2 hours it dropped a red card and strawberries

I’m pretty sure it was 100 coins to buy the pond and these are the requirements to build it:

I got the quest 1x before I even had the 1000 crowns and it was gone when I restarted the game. After buying Maya it works fine! (On my Android)

I'm waiting for the pond of sight now... No, not for the pond, that's ready for sure! 😂 But 199 Heksa spawned exactly on top of it. And I was so happy all those fights against the gnomes were done.... 😡 But glad I'm going forward to that storyline too! 😉

Well unless I am doing something wrong, the last goal takes forever, you need three cards of each type to get a reading, I now have one of each and only two of one kind. This goal takes time and a lot of essence. I look forward to seeing what comes out of it.��

Finally finished battling Gnomes and have unlocked Maya.
Love the design!
Especially of the Pond Of Sight.
Seems like this will be another trade system.
A good way to use the essences once they max out.
And another energy source is always welcome so I'm happy.

Can't wait for more Town Hall Characters.

Regarding Maya...my pond, crystal ball, pony and tent are all making things at the moment so I can?t take a picture yet. After you have created enough of the cards it asks you to pick your card and when you go to the tent it has new cards that you have to craft 3 of-one of them was a worker card and one was a wizard card-that is all I can remember off the top of my head-but it does not say how to craft them. Does anyone know? Do I just keep making cards in all the 4 things and hope they drop? I will take a picture when one of them is finished

The tent dropped the card I needed so that answered my question 
