Sorry if this has already been answered but what will bring on a love beast

Collecting from ponds spawns them. The smoochie booth needs to be level 4 before they will start spawning.

And there's another problem with all those chocolate ...
I noticed that my real life stock on chocolate goes down when the virtual stock in the game grows!  
Not a good event for chocoholics like me... And we have 19+ days to go.... 

Yep...chocoholic here too causing more consumption... lol.

My thought: once you trade for each of the animals in the last trade, what's the point of having that Shack any longer?

******S8 ---- you could've have made each consecutive animal require more resources to get instead of capping them at just one!

I do love all the trade items but I agree with you completely. I love, love, love holidays, I really do, but there's only so many decorations I need in my realm when I don't really have room for any to begin with. I'll probably keep mine out until I have a nice round number of each deco item then pack it away. As for the animals...I was so stoked to see a new Alicorn but if you look at my first post, a ridiculously low cap was my only fear for this event. Sigh. I guess we should be glad they gave us an Ali at all.

On the upside, we don't have to craft anything for these trades since the event prizes drop the items. It seems to me that the Fruit Stand was like the trial run for this event since it's so similar but they did improve some things. I can only hope that this isn't the new standard formula because I want a bit of variety in my gaming experience.

They are trigged by different items and have different drops so the old ones won't work for the new tasks and vice versa. Essentially they're two different animals altogether which is sort of crazy since I'm having trouble telling them apart visually.

I don't know, but I would guess 6, based on the fact that lovebeasts didn't spawn until 4, and you need them to upgrade from 5 to 6, while you don't need feathers until you go from 7 to 8.
Sadly, based on that, I would expect the love dust from the mines at level 5, since you need dust to go from 6 to 7, but I'm level 5 now and didn't get dust, but I've only collected once. I just tried a batch of chickens and didn't get any feathers (not that I was expecting any at level 5).
Really, there's no reason why it has to be consistent, so I'm just guessing.
Anyone further along that can help?
