No more notifications

Within the past day or two, restaurant story has not been notifying me when my food is ready, and I have been forgetting and it spoils. I have tried to update the app, I've checked to make sure I have the notification setting for food ready is on, I have restarted my phone, I'm not sure what else to do. I fear to uninstall and reinstalling for fear of losing anything. I know it should be saved with my storm8 ID but I don't want to uninstall just in case I lose some progress.

Please help me fix this.

Sorry, but my best advice is to do the thing you're afraid of!

If it makes you feel better, I've reinstalled several times with no problems.

Make sure your notifications are on in game and also under settings on your device.
You are safe uninstalling because your progress is saved on the S8 servers.

Make sure you have a storm ID and password set up.
