Castle Story event 1/18 - What's Eating Baron's Grapes?

For players having trouble finding monsters, they are in the acer trees. I was able to complete the fight fangbeast goal by just chopping yellow acers. I also got several skunks as well. Farmhouses were a bust for me.

They aren?t hiding in my acer trees and I chopped at least 10 or 13 without a single one. I ended up getting two total. So far not really enjoying this event. Like the graphics and concept. Hate that it?s something you have to be checking constantly and the side goals are both distracting and difficult to accomplish. I am not into the new idea that having 6-8 goals going at one time during a timed event is a good thing.

I'm surprised that there are no new items in the market for this event. Usually we can buy extra prize walls/arches or spend gems to get a second of whatever deco (in this case the Pear Tree) needed for the event. I'm not complaining as I already accidentally spent my gems on the Vineyard Tree, I just find it odd.

I am really enjoying this event but only because, being a teacher, I’m in the middle of my summer holidays. Usually on a Friday I would be at work right now so an event with lots of mini timed goals wouldn’t be possible. But, since I am on holidays and can participate - I’m loving it!!! Even when I miss a goal I’m not angry because at least I’m not leveling a building with the same materials over and over again

Yep! Sometimes it sucks not being American. I blame the Atlantic. Lol. We have the same issue with the 7th day of a Monster Hunt. Only a few hours to slay all beasts.

Don?t feel too bad. I would give up the 7 hour quest to not live in America right now. I have spent loads of time in Britain (hubby is British) and never wanted to live there. These past two time, I was trying to scheme about how we could stay. Even he wants to go back and he has never been that way before.

I can only post what works for me. Just chopped 4 more acers and got 2 more skunks. Nothing from farmhouses.

Anyone can post the Vineyard Tree inventory card?

Just collected from it and it dropped 4 Pears and 2 Purple Grapes.

It's interesting it states the drops are "permanent", it makes it sound like these items will be useful after the event.
