Woo hoo. Got my first yellow stone from the adventure.
I'm ahead of my target, still on level 4 since I need another 11 yellow stones, but nearly done with frags 1 and 3. I can just focus on my tuftkin for a bit. Kind of regret going too fast in the beginning, because I wasted a lot of milk and wood (I was full and couldn't use it). And now when I do the adventure, I get stones I don't need.

Is there anyone that can confirm the cheaper trap (for the scorched tuftkin) is enough to complete "Tough stuff"? Because it says "Set a Tuftkin trap"...Then the net gain of this goal would be 15 gems.

There's no advantage to completing the side goal, so I wouldn't buy either trap. You don't get any of the gems back and there is no reward.
I would only buy the traps if for some reason you are having a hard time attracting the Tuftkins.

My question about the Tuftkin side goal is:
Why should it be required to spend 20gems on placing a trap if it's not needed for accomplishing anything?
.. We can craft the pet Tuftkins in the Ember Cave having enough feathers.. it's not blocked
.. We already spawn all the Tuftkins we want
.. There's no reward whatever for this goal
.. It does not lead to any other goal
Why was that side-goal put there!

The game has been resetting quite a bit today. I did not lose anything major, but it was annoying. The camera option was missing at least once and then came back and last I checked went missing again.
the bug has been fixed and the tuftkins are back! Thank you so much SpiritWind for getting this all started and to PikaSquirrel for such a fast response and also to CS! Off to find more tuftkins!
