Thread: Castle Story 11/16: Community Event | The Soup Kitchen | goals in post 2-3

  1. #11
    Hey all!
    Hopefully this helps.
Couldn?t SS the first, this is the second part of the goals.
Also included the pic of what the Soup Kitchen looks like when you first buy it.
The event is 14 days long and yes, it?s a community event, need to collect every 2hours. The picture shows the timer. 4 gems to speed up.

I kinda miss the times when it was chopping and collecting relentlessly in order to collect for prizes, instead of leveling a building to move ahead. 

    Good luck all!

And the soup kitchen seems to have to be upgraded to a level 6 (vs level 10 usually), which is really really great news! Lots of diversity in collection points for different items, so not too repetitive; love it so far!

The roasted nuts contain items Ivy's hut. First collection from Ivy's yielded one seasoning spice, and you need two to to upgrade the soup kitchen to level 2.

Needing to wait another 12 hours for a second seasoning spice I see this event being another nightmare. I hope not.

Don't forget the Objection Trees and Treeple! They drop the old log and plant in a log. That could help save a few coins.

The new things to cook do look interesting, but the amount of acorns alone means lots of energy and coins. Again. Almost dreading finding out what the soup kitchen upgrades will require. Sigh.

I am getting one hearty egg for every 6-7 chickens. Has anyone experienced a better drop rate? I don't think I'll get anywhere near the 9,999 limit at this rate.

Why is it that I have to waste an energy to get into my boost
Never had to before this update

They did that a couple updates ago, right around the Halloween ones where you had to plant lots and lots of pumpkins.

And everything nicely documented already on the online help under the community event telling you where to get the various ingredients up front.

Also if not interested in individual prize of Alpaca all it takes to get the community prize(Soup Cauldron that drops food) is 63 tickets which would be doable even with a level 1 Soup Kitchen by simply checking at 2 hr intervals as often as is possible.

Very nice/easy event with variety. Since treeples dropped all the Plant in Logs and have Acers won't even have to buy stuff to chop.

Another nice thing is the garlic is only 35 minute collection and nets 150 coins... When paired with the boost this can give you 150 coins per plot every 18 minutes until you run out of energy.

This has happened to me before when I have no energy and craft a boost. I've selected storage, thinking it would be stored, and later find that it's still 'waiting' to be collected, sometimes days later when I try to craft another boost. It instantly offers you the choice of activating or storing, but it does indeed remove an energy every time a boost is crafted. If no energy is available, the boost actually remains in there until you 'collect' it with an energy.

Has anyone tried an alternative for chickens, such as the swans?
