I just chopped another one and got purple coral with every hit. Now I'm wondering if it's goal related. I said it dropped immediately but I was flying through the steps and I honestly can't remember now when they started dropping. I've probably chopped 50 cursed reefs so it's a little hazy now...

Witches calling needs purple reef, maybe it will drop at that time...

I agree. I easily burned through 2-3 Million coins yesterday doing a couple of the expansions and the blue coral boost quest. It was nice getting the 250k coin rebate, but since most of our collection items only drop 1k coins (with a few that drop up to 2k), I agree that we need prize items that drop higher amounts of coins (e.g. 10-20k each collection). I keep fellora blossoms growing and try to collect from my buildings as much as I can, but that is also hard to do with the back-to-back energy intensive timed events. So during those events, rent usually goes uncollected.

I'm very glad this isn't a timed goal. I've been trying to go through the quests when I have my resource levels built back up. I am excited about the clownfish quest, since they have been my bottleneck. I'm just starting to gather the crazy amount of stormwaters required for that stupid Mermaid Necklace. But I'll have to drop another 1.5 Million coins and 400 energy in 24 hours to get a much needed resource boost. I'll hold off on the eel quest for a while to replenish.

If the elves only want reef slabs or ocean clay, that's fine, but there is no way those greedy elves are touching my clownfish, eels, or other rare items.

I am 2 storm waters away from that necklace. I can't wait until it is finished!!

I think so. I got a venom from a monkey so I will wait till next task to try out the 100k cliff.

Use Heska's power against her. Strengthen your charm with the ocean life caused by her approach.

Clear a Cursed Reef 0/1

Gather Purple Coral (don't remember how many)

Gather Cursed Pearls (don't remember how many)

Make a Sea Witch's Calling 0/1
(In Mermaid Workshop, takes 10 purple coral, 5 cursed pearls, 15 tideblooms. 1 hr.

Summon Heska from Tidegate Lv. 6 0/1 Summon
(Throw the charm into the water!)

Yes, it does, I just came here to report that the purple coral started dropping when I initiated goal 9. I was a little too enthusiastic chopping more than the required cursed reef in goal eight.

I'm sure it didn't help that I thought I got drops right away. Oh well, problem solved.

Didnt try to craft a second at the same time.

And after fighting Heksa i found "Adira" ( like Sirene&Azura ) in my inventory, with 2h timer...

Are you suuuure about that? My Adira has a 4 hr. timer. She also has better drops than the other mermaids. She dropped a cursed reef and a mysterious purple starfish that has no purpose at this time.
