I find if I buy the goal items ahead of the goal step they don't count toward the goal. IE: the acorn pillars, counters,tables and chairs. I usually don't mind but it is irritating. Does anyone else have this problem?

I normally wait to buy anything until the steps are posted so I can see the wording of the goal step so I can see if it says buy or have bc that makes a different.

Sometimes things you buy early will count, sometimes they won't.

If the goal says, "Have Two Daisy Tables," then Daisy Tables bought earlier will count. You have them.

If the goal says, "Buy Two Daisy Tables," then you have to buy two of them, no matter how many you already have.

See what the goal says before buying any, unless you know you'll be happy to buy more.
