Gems offer never fulfilled

I completed 15 levels of a game feeding animals to get the promised gems as reward. I even toook a screenshot of reaching level 16 just in case. I never got the gems. I contacted customer support, explained, sent the screenshot, and they have only ever responded by saying that my ticket was closed repeatedly. They never awarded the gems, apologized, or even attempted to have a discourse with me about it. It is very disappointing how they did not honor what they promised. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything else to do?
