Several players with much more knowledge and experience than I say not to use the high level dragons on the early rounds. A champion is a good choice. I took out Comet with my Honor ( level 4)

That's what I say and I'm pretty good at tournaments. I use this logic: If a baby Fire can beat the level 20 champions then what's to say a baby Comet won't beat a level 15 Rainbow Sentinel.
