Where does the "werepea net" come in? I just had a neighbor request one but none of my quests have required this.

It's part of the final goal of the Haunted Cabin, down toward the bottom.

Is it just me, but when you first load the game in a 24 hour period, it shows pictures of werepea and beast lair and so on, but also shows what appears to be the wanted keep and haunted castle??? I thought at first they were new prize buildings. Why would these just be advertising filler? 😵

I'm with you. Changing the appearance of buildings has no appeal for me, especially since I already have a spooky keep. I'm not that interested in the knight, and may make a half hearted attempt at the baby beasts. Mostly I'm looking forward to tending my Kingdom getting a break to restore resources. S8 should pronounce a short holiday now and again to let people recover.

Yep. I’ve pretty much decided I won’t even try for the knight and the only baby animal I might be interested in is the ghost skunkupea. But given there is no way to work on just the parts needed for that, it’s unlikely I’ll get it.

So I might be focussing back on the mermaid quest next week. Given we don’t even celebrate Halloween here, this event is something that just doesn’t resonate with me.

I don’t like continuing to be negative but am finding it hard to find positives ...

I'm not especially negative. Just this game isn't for me. If the prizes excited me, I'd probably jump in regardless of the theme. But they don't.

Like you, I have mermaids to work on, and still one more building to get to level 7. Plus the rate of urgent quests has left me low on basics like flour and stored feasts for questing. A week or two on those will be a good change.

I hear ya, I put my knights on vacation from questing since the Halloween event started, because my kitchens have been busy making pops. Though I have quite a few feasts saved up, I know I'll just run through them and have to start all over cooking again so I am letting them rest.

My drop rates are declining...have to harvest 7 chickens to get the wereskunk ...this has happened all the time today.

That's been my experience for a couple of days now. Unless you get a fangbeast, that only takes 3 chickens.
7 is the magic number. Even if I tap 4 chickens when I leave the game. Next time I come in, another three chickens will spawn a wereskunk. At least it's been consistent.

On a plus note my level 7 farmhouses have replenished my corn after I gave 85 to Nadina by accident.
And thanks to the fang beasts I now have my fangpup. Yahoo!
