Ah sorry, I overlooked your question about the pop ups on new recipes. You can find the pumpkin cookies on the basic oven and candy corn coffee on the drink machine. You can choose to cook them or not, but like the pop up says, it's a limited time recipe so once the date passes, it's gone. You can master them to get gems - you have to keep cooking them until the bar below the recipe goes to level 4. You'll get 2 gems per recipe. Those gems come in handy when we get sales to purchase some nice decor.
