Seriously!!!???? I am so quitting. :(
I sent a message today to Storm8 related to an offer I received to complete a goal I couldn't finish on time using gems. The gems were removed from my account (71 gems) and reward was not delivered.
I will share the messages and screenshots I sent to them as well as the screenshot of their response.

Did you force close and then reopen the game and then doublecheck your decor list ? Sometimes you have to do that. It sucks that support gave you that response. Hopefully one of the mods will try to get you some more help.
