Castle Story 9/7: Baron's 5th Birthday

Last mystery box vanished. They could have a least let people collect any craft started before the event ended. And now the ticket booth and trading booth are both pure deco, but they are listed under buildings in storage. And they are most definitely in storage. I sincerely hope they don't count against our building totals! What a disappointing birthday celebration.

same, I had one last gold trade crafting and it's gone.
Didn't get a single expansion permit or alicorn (which I wasn't hoping for). and i traded at least 25-30times. I have like 7 thrones. lol

I was one of the lucky ones who did pretty well with my prizes.
4 Alicorns!!!! , 2 Expansion Permits!! and 1each of the dogs!
Plus the LVL10 Carousel , the Pfefferknott Pony and 3 Geese.
I couldn't be happier!

However most players are unhappy.
This is all to do with the random drops.
I've said it event after event ...
A timed event is no place for random drops!
It doesn't reward hard work or money spent and creates player dissatisfaction.
This could've easily been avoided if the ticket trades were for set prizes instead of mystery trades.
Have all the same prizes on offer but for varying ticket prices ... similar to the 20 gold for the Pony trade.

Alternatively the mystery trades would've been an awesome longterm addition to the game.
That was a big opportunity missed there Storm8.
Player spending would've increased if people knew there was benefit to finishing the Carousel and getting the pony and geese before the event ended.
Also would've avoided the unfolding drama with Pony trades disappearing as the event ended.

Glad to see someone did well.
I tried so hard for Alicorn - but got thrones and milk, mostly. No Ali.

Hopefully next event will be better - the forest archer is hopefully some assassin, sent to hunt down Baron's royal ass. After the disappointment he caused for so many of us!

add: I remember if you started crafting SOMETHING before an event is up, you get to collect it! i even confirmed it in a forum for the previous event. Sorry to all who started the pony but cannot collect

Add me to the list of outraged players whose last trade was stolen. I am SO mad! I have an actual LIFE that includes children that need to be taught and read to and fed. A puppy who was just spayed, laundry to do, dinner to cook, clothes to wash...

I come back to the game to collect one last time and that building is sitting there, as useless as a screen door on a submarine. I am LIVID!

I'm usually a regular spender. I buy gems and game packs because I enjoy them, but until these injustices are rectified, I won't be buying ANYTHING.

I was able to get 20 gold tickets and trade for the Pony but since its wasn't finished before the end of the game, I lost it! I really can't believe it after all I did to get it...pretty much has shown me how this game has gotten less and less desirable to play.

I am sooo angry my last mystery box disappeared. Especially bcuz I used my gems to buy the last gold ticket I needed.

This never happened in previous events. For example, this Valentine's day when gamers could craft prink animals in the Royal Exchange. When the event ended , I was crafting a pink sheep, I was still able to get the sheep, but all of the event options were gone.

I'm super salty and I was really like my 44 gems back...such a rip off

Adding my extreme displeasure that anything being crafted has been lost.

There is no way we could have known this based on previous events.
