Hurricane Harvey in Texas

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that lives in the Texas Coastal area! Hurricane Harvey has now gone up to a category 4.

It will soon make landfall on the Texas Coast.

I do live in Texas, but am about 4 hours away from the area so we are safe, but are also prepared for some possible high winds and power outages over the next 3-4 days.

I am prepared with lots of batteries, food and water.

I hope everyone has evacuated and is safe.

Keeping an eye on some friends about 3 hours from coast.
They are expecting quite a bit of rain these next few days!

I hope everyone is safe in Houston, Tx! Flooding has gotten really bad and some people are trapped on their roofs waiting on rescue. It is great to see community members with their own boats and jet skis going out to help get others to safety!

My fam lives in Lewisville, a small town at the top of Texas. Thankfully, all they’ve gotten is thunderstorms, so they are safe. Thank you so much kooky panda for making this thread. It is very nice of you!
