Swamp Snakes aren?t dropping milk for me anymore. I?ve got 25 milks & have beat another 50 SS & zero milk dropped. Used to drop milk from SS every second or third time.

Same here. Since the start of the monster hunt, the Swamp Snakes stopped dropping milk.

the S entry (for swamp snakes) in the Inventory Guide also has main story spawn info which says from chopping marsh trees and collecting from marsh reeds

I don't have the Hydrangea Hydra. What might I receive hydra milk from? The Dark Den is in storage and have have no swamp trees to chop, yet I have got one hydra milk. I have the rattler on the board, and that gross scorpion king... Maybe the rattler drops hydra milk?

Hydra milk drops from Swamp Snakes (not a guaranteed drop at all, more like a rare drop I would say)
Swamp Snakes spawn from Marsh Tree that you can buy in the Market > Nature > Plants (page 19/23 today)
Marsh Trees also spawn Tough Muddlings, which makes it difficult for us to find Swamp Snakes...

Thanks, xiq24! I've got the rattler out of storage and will post here in case it also gives occasional drops of hydra milk. Would be a little easier than battling the snakes!
