I just started SB ch 4 so I shouldn't start to breed for Hottweiler yet, or should I start? I only have one hatching station, can't afford another one

No. You have to breed with a Fairy Ferret and also hatch an earth animal before you can hatch a Hottweiler, so you'll need your breeding den & nest open for those Chapters first. Breed your FF with Rock Rhino so that you can possibly get the earth animal that needs to be hatched in Chapter 5.

I will confirm this tomorrow morning (GMT UK) as opinion is so divided. I have one ready on the nest and one in the breeding den. I will release the breeding den first to see if that registers with the SB. Then we will know for sure!
PS. I also have one in the Evo!

@AppieP wow thanks, he's really cool! I thought he was just gonna look like a hot dog or terrorier when he grew up! They should really show an animal's adult form in the shop, especially when the adult form is so different/cool. I would have tried a lot harder from the get go. I never understood why they only show the baby form in the shop...I know they're adorbs as babies, but in most cases, it's the least representational form of the animal.

I've been failing at breeding the hottweiler just like I've failed at every quest required breeding. Please increase the rate or this game all comes down to luck, not strategy. If I want to lose at luck I'd go to a casino. I've been trying since it was first announced here we needed one. At an average of 2 fails a day I am now less than .1 chance - not good enough.

I can now confirm this. My wife released hers from the breeding den and nothing happened. She paid 6 gems to hatch it and that was recognised. My own surprised me because the SB accepted the one I had raised to lvl 4 before I could release the others. I think this has changed from previous. Anyway, den to nest is breeding and nest to habitat is hatching.
