When the story book asks you to "hatch" an animal, do you have to hatch it at the required stage or can you hatch it ahead of time and get the auto complete like when you level up an animal ahead of time? Thanks in advance everyone.

Thanks Supster I didn't see it! But I have a higher level one so it looks like it's fine to hatch it.

NannaSherry hatching really needs to happen at that moment. You can put it in your nest ahead of time and have it ready to go though, as long as you don't complete the hatching.
Similar with breeding, if it says breed A with B it doesn't count if you have them in the den already, you need to start the breed when you're at that step.

Not sure on the step to hatch the Blossom Buck though cause you only get one, maybe someone else can weigh in?

NannaSherry hatching really needs to happen at that moment. You can put it in your nest ahead of time and have it ready to go though, as long as you don't complete the hatching.
Similar with breeding, if it says breed A with B it doesn't count if you have them in the den already, you need to start the breed when you're at that step.

Thank you magilou. I thought so but wanted to be sure. I believe I have one on the nest so I'll leave it alone until requested. Thanks also to Everyone on the forum who give all these helpful posts!

@fantasyomg - I got 5000 apples as a reward for finishing chap 3, not 2000. I'm level 59. Maybe it's different for different levels.

all I know is that when I completed chap 7 I was given 1 Blossom Buck as a prize and when I started Chap 8 the 1st quest was to hatch 1 Blossom Buck.If I had hatched him before I started Chap 8, I don't know what would have happened.
