Thanks Spiritwind. I thought to restart my device, see if they would return and now I have 0 bobbins again (had 8) in my first kingdom. Second is at 6 now (ID of my second account is 'Kimmykatje').

I might have an idea what triggered this, I will be able to check tomorrow if it will happen again.

I have the same problem, all my Bobbins are gone. I sent a message to Support, should I do anything else that I'm not aware? I restarted the device and reinstalled the game. It seams that I have to start all over again with the collection

Is it better to first use the gavels to upgrade your law office at level 4 or 5 or first use them to make a Treeple?

It is going to be tight for those who don't want to gem speed and near impossible for those unlucky with treeple spawns, are at a low level and/or don't have energy sources to collect wigs and scrolls. My personal advice (don't have to agree with me!) is if you don't want to spend a lot of gems and/or babysit the game, craft a treeple and aim for the 3rd individual prize and/or community prizes (500 bobbins). With 1 treeple and 10-11 days of collections left (4 per day, total of 40 bobbins), this is substantially more stress-free and less time consuming. 1200 bobbins is manageable for most level 50 players but 2400 is not. As I said before, the level 10 law office and law suit of armor are not very useful but the 2nd and 3rd individual prizes are. Of course, you miss out on the 4th and 5th but you also will be more relaxed!

Can't do your calculations as I don't know how many bobbins or treeples you have and how your gavel drops/treeple spawns will be in future/how fast you level up, but good luck!

If you get the 5th prize, would you pls share the drops ? I only have just over 100 bobbins now so if the prize is good. I might speed up the office. I don't care about the 4th one though

Here's another challenge I can tell I'm not doing well at - specifically Treeples. They only spawn at Ivy's place. I have upgraded my Mines to level 6 for shortest recovery time and since this challenge went live, I have not had one Treeple spawn... Not one.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I thought I was doing well trying to upgrade to level 5 but this one Treeple every 16 hours will really hurt!!!

I upgraded my Law Office to lvl 5 yesterday, but since for lvl 6 I need 35 scrolls and its kind of hard to get them, I chose to craft a Treeple today.
At least I can get some extra bobbins daily

I'm at Step 4 of the challenge and it requires 5 Mithril to complete. I'm only on Level 25 and have seen Mithril exactly once. Without spending 400 gems on a dragon that needs to grow, or 30 gems on the dark formation, how are we lower level players supposed to complete this task?

I, too, am having same issues. My sparking mines are not spawning treeples, with one exception. At this poor rate, it is pointless to continue quest.

For those who need mithril, here's the description from the Hub:

Uses: goals: Secrets of mithril, Forging Excalibam, The Magic Scissors
Goal: Cracking the Case (creating the whisperweight net)
Goal: Cave Rich In Culture (upgrading Faerie Respite to level 3)
Goal: Enchanted Minerals (crafting enchanted mithril for the Glimmergate Key)
Requirements: 50 silver after receiving 4th knowledge shard

For you lower level players, it's something that'll unlock further along the line. If you haven't unlocked it yet, your best bets will probably be chopping dark cave formations and the jeweler trade.

My advise is to keep collecting all you can and wait for Monday when S8 is back and probably they will take a look about it.
