Country wedding event

I bought both the chicken and cow gazebo from the country wedding event with the understanding that both would be place in my cellar at the end of the event. Tonight I opened the game and found the fairground empty. Went to my cellar and neither gazebo is there. Did I misunderstand the event or something. That's a lot of gems for something that was nearly useless during the event. Little disappointed here. ☹️
