Where did the candy cane tree come from?
What are you all doing with your food from the goals. Trashing it? I don?t have any room since they?ve upped all the food you need to make for them. I have 90 counters and I can?t sell them fast enough. I?m already in a deficit doing them so it?s crazy to me
Candy Cane Tree was a possible prize from the Winter Crate that was released in BS 2023 Dec. 09
(it was originally an RS box that was ported over)
This is a hard one.... You'll get different answers from every player you talk to but here's my views:
My food sells out pretty quickly so I just take a break from baking for a few days when I want things to sell out. I really dislike just tossing food out since I spent my in game currency on it, I feel like I should try to make my coins back, lol.
When I'm in a rush to get my counters empty, like when I remodel, I will sometimes clear a counter but only if the value of the food is under a certain amount. Like, if the food on the counter is under 1k coins in value, I'll toss it without fuss but anything over that has to sell down more before I feel okay doing that. Other times, when I have more coins and am less picky I'll clear counters with anything under 5k in value and so on. Really, it varies depending on the circumstances of any given day.
Also, if I'm trying to master recipes, I'll only focus on one at a time to reduce extra counters/food. For example: if I need to master an appliance that has 3 recipes on it, I'll set out one of the appliance and pick one recipe to focus on. This may not work for everyone, but in my bakery it helps avoid getting overwhelmed with food I don't actually like/want on my counters. I also try to keep a few basic ovens on the board serving the high value recipes at all times to make up the coins constantly being used for goals.
In general, I was struggling to sell food a few years back but then I remodeled to one of the 'most efficient' layouts and, since then, things move quite well. If you're unfamiliar with the efficiency layouts, I have a post here where I shared all of the links to the best threads explaining things. Some players think your table/register layout doesn't matter but trust me, it really does!
Thank you, I?m gonna take at look at the efficient designs.
