Skylord Leaders Event March 29 2016

When I first started playing dragon story I found it stressful wanting to get every dragon, but once I changed my mindset that I wouldn't stress over getting long breeding common fails all the time it was much better..... I love this game and it is the same with this event, I was happy to participate and I'm very happy I got Galaxy and pi?ata which I didn't have and there is a good chance skylord will become available in a mini tournament or something.

It's not so much losing skylord that's got me like this. It's the complete lopsidedness of the competition aspect to begin with. There's a list a mile long of it. the bugs with the event. People didn't get to participate at all, or, when they finally got on, it was half over. I loved the milestone part, but I had a bad taste in my mouth over the competition from the beginning. And I have a bad feeling stuff from this will spread to other events they do...I'm not leaving right away, and there's lots of things I do love about the game. But that competition? Added a bunch of[] I stopped playing MMO's over....

I actually had a lot of fun this event. I started out in 14th place and worked hard to get myself up to 1st place. I didn't have a fountain, and I didn't buy extra boosts. I spent all of 17 gold to speed hatching when breeding finished before an egg was hatched since I don't yet have a second nest.

The player who came in 2nd and I spent the last 4 days switching places back and forth. I managed to squeeze out ahead this morning and got 1st place with a 105 point cushion. My final total was 2083.

If an event like this happens again, I will be happy with whatever place I get. I would have been happy with 3rd, getting 25,000 food and 20 maps. I need both. The Dragon is cool, my first mythic. Waiting to buy a habitat to bring skylord out to of storage.

Here's hoping everyone has better luck with whatever type of event comes next!

Did anyone else notice that we weren't being rewarded points as stated in the leaderboard info? The info said +3 points per hatching hour (the same for breeding hours) plus bonus points for hatching rare, super rare, & ultra rare dragons. However, at least for me, I only received the bonus points for hatching- not the +3/hr of hatching time. I received the +3/he of breeding time just not the hatching time. I'm pretty annoyed as I spent gold thinking I was doing so to get way more points than the piddly few that I ended up receiving. I would've easily earned the last milestone reward if I received the points I should have and probably would've changed my placing in the final results.

Did anyone else notice this problem?

I had a feeling something was happening. I would just gance at my numbers before collecting and they didn't seem to add up like they should have just chalked up to maybe I didn't see numbers right. I would have kept a running total but I shouldn't have that is just way too much work to play a game. They should just be honest in counting.

Even with spending some gold you didn't get enough to get all prizes. The only way to get them was to spend lots of gold. At least with other events you had a shot at getting all the prizes without spending gold Not This one. Was designed as a gold/money grabbing event.

Thank you :-) but I think this game is more about luck than fair. I played more than 3 years an jst manage to get my first Diamond when I'm over lv 147, even though tried thousand times. But some nbrs jst start an get quickly in early level.
In my board, seems most of android users, that's nice for me :-) I'm android. An everyone has not so different lv, seems not so active, dont spend golds the same, no boost, no double dens, no gold dragons.
If they put me with another who use ios with artic isle den, an ton of gold dragons, then I'm sure I'm out of board.

You are right. That is also bad luck. Same happened to me with the diamond dragons on arctic islands. Over 2 years trying and then last week, during the tournament, I got, not one, but two icicle dragons.

Thank you cdbabe. Sure you can add me as a neighbour. I don't visit anymore but do return gold and send maps. Sadly I missed Tinkerer and Henna. They were limited and I thought that meant they were on sale for a limited time and I could still breed for them. Maybe they will come back again. Must go check my Storage for the new dragon. The two I can still breed for are Prime Eternal and Regrowth.

Oh they will totally do it again. I bet they made a lot on money off of this event. Unless players drop out at an alarming rate, there will be more events.

Of course they will! TL will be salavating about all the money they made over a period of 6 days, you can bet on it will be a regular event!
