Note: The rainbow appears when it's ready for collection and disappears after collection.

Watermelon

Available at level 14.

Plant watermelon
Buy Planter Boxes or Golden Planter Boxes from the Market and start planting watermelon. The current maximum is 6 planter boxes and 2 golden planter boxes. Watermelon work different from other type of crops because they are mixed seeds.

1. Click on an empty Planter Box
2. Select the button to plant Watermelon seeds
3. Wait for your watermelon seeds to grow
4. Collect to see what you got.

Note: Do not use up your last Watermelon Seed as you need it for planting. However you can buy from the newspaper or your neighbours if you did.

Harvest your watermelon
Swipe the sickle tool over your watermelon to harvest and they are stored in your silo. You will get a random watermelon and two watermelon seeds.

PetCoins

Win a special pet prize by tapping on pets which appear around your farm!

• Collect PetCoins by tapping on the tappable pets that appear in your Farm. These may be different than the pets pictured below, depending on the prizes. You'll know if a PetCoin event is going on because the pets will replace the traditional Otter, Mole and Butterflies.
• Craft the pet that you would like to make in the Farmer's Outpost. You can keep track of how many PetCoins in the Farmer's Outpost. You can use your PetCoins to craft any of the available prizes.
• Collect your prize.

(Please note that PetCoins are not transferable between events)

The Otter, Mole, and Butterflies have indeed been replaced by the Rainbow Zebra, Rooster, and Bubble Frog.

This is a special mini-event that lasts until the Mega-Sale ends on Monday. They can drop the same items as the Otter, Mole, and Butterflies, but in addition can drop PetCoins which can be redeemed for any of these three pets at the Farmer's Outpost. Get 'em while you can!

Workers

Workers are a brand new feature in Farm Story 2! They are unlike anything that has been released in the past. They work similarly to pets where they live in a habitat and walk around your farm.

Hiring A Worker
Workers can be earned from limited time events. After you win your worker, the habitat and food that the worker you won requires will be unlocked. The habitat and food that are required vary depending on the worker.

Feeding Your Workers
Workers get hungry too! The food that workers require will depend on the worker. You can feed the worker by tapping on the habitat and then tapping on the icon with their food (It is always the icon on the left.) Once you feed them, you must wait a certain amount of time before you can collect your rewards. You can check the timer by tapping on the habitat that the Workers work in.

Collecting From Your Workers
After the timer is up, you can collect from your workers by swiping over them with the collection bucket. The rewards that they will give you depend on the habitat they are placed in.

Exotic Pets

The Sweet Sunflower and Venus Flytrap are a new type of pet - we call them Exotic Pets. They aren't able to move around your farm due to their strong roots but they do give you items and coins when they're collected from, so they do get hungry. They use a new type of Exotic Pet Feed that will become available in the Feed Mill when you get one of them.

Collecting From your Exotic Pets
Exotic Pets have three states: Idle, Working (timer active), and Ready (after the timer is done). Once you feed the pet, it'll go into the working state, and after 12 hours it will be ready to collect! Once you collect from Exotic Pets, you will get the same premium rewards that you get with pets.

Storing your Exotic Pets
Exotic Pets can now be stored! Simply tap on them and then click on the Cellar icon and it will go in your inventory.

Reminder that if your Exotic Pet is not storable, try collecting from them first. They cannot be stored in their "working" (timer active) state or their "ready" (timer expired) state. Only the "idle" (feedable) state is storable.
