Day 3 update;
Slow and steady. So far (knock on wood) I've had much better luck in these first 20 rounds then in the past few tournaments. I've not been able to read much of the past days comments but I will get caught up. Continued luck to all and congrats to anyone who might have got this prize already! Cheers!

Very true! I'm one if the idiots who has been stuck on round 20 for 2 days now. First 19 rounds went by fairly quickly and now stuck, stuck, stuck... It's very annoying and frustrating. Makes the game less enjoyable. At this point, however, it's hard to use ultimate. my 2 yr old already wasted 30 gold when she ultimated round 1 so I think I'm going to keep trying without using gold.

you poor thing. Totally agree .. my D1 has just spent a lot of gold on that new habitat so she is adamant she doenst want to spend any more .. she says she already has 5 champs anyway so doesnt really need another She is stuck on Angelfire too.
I chickened out .. having had about 4 tournaments getting stuck on champs and really not having fun I had 3 goes and then did the dirty on Angelfire .. my luck quote is non existent at the moment

I would alternate babies with one of the main ones that usually work against champs : metal, passion, infinity, diamond, pyramid or soccer.
Having said that others work too .. primary colours are often quite good and are cheap to hatch and get rid of while you are waiting for your main to catch up. Good luck xx

Sure sweetie .. the only non diamonds I have who have won against obsidian (he has not turned up much in tournaments) are White Magic, Dream and Guardian ...
