Castle Story WINTER???

So I found this morning a Castle Story WINTER app!!!
IMMEDIATELY downloaded, on the edge on my seat...finally it's done I open it and it looks no different seriosuly? I have restarted my phone, shut it down and powered back up, deleted the original version, force closed a number of times..all in disbelief that it's not white and snowy when I open it.
has anyone else seen this or am I imagine ing the whole experience? Anyone else downloaded and it is different?
I am still on the edge of my seat here.

It does not appear to have anything different to it. In the past the special editions have been some type of background change at least (such as snow). I suspect there's a bug. The app re-downloads all of the graphics which is a bit annoying since it consumes more space instead of pulling stuff from the original CS app.

My cell game gave me 30 gems for the installation but there's no difference for now with the original game

I am on Samsung Android and play Bakery, Restaurant, Dragon, and others but each time Castle is offered the store always says it is not compatible with my device????? Why does it keep offering something I can't download? I play Castle on Ipad and it was the very 1st game I started playing so was really excited to see it here (BUT IT ISN'T)

I'm playing castle on my Samsung tab, I have 2 questions:

1.) I downloaded winter edition because I got a pop-up, in the Google play store the splash screen shows a white snowy background but my game doesn't have this, why ?

2.) I want to keep only 1 version on my tablet, can I keep winter and delete regular edition or must we always have the regular edition additional PLUS the latest "special" edition ?

1. I checked the game and the Castle Story: Winter version from the Google Play store has the winter splash screen in both the store and the game.

2. You can play on Winter and delete the base version if you only want one of the icons on your device. When seasonal editions are retired, we usually notify via an in-game message that will let you know when you need to return to the original edition.

I spent a lot of time on both versions today. My money balance is different, so when the winter is over and I continue playing o both, which one would be saved? winter is fast, but during the day I had so many repeats of actions, it did let me in and then the items disappeared, were not saved properly, giving me an different output - I asked 1 ad got another item from shops...therefore I came here to ask what's going on. So, is there any connection between them now? if I develop differently one version to other what happens?

Both versions should sync up to be the same. I recommend not having both games open at the same time to prevent any sync errors (i.e. saving progress in one game conflicting with the server).
