Battleground 3: Twilight Troll

I was rearranging habitats when I saw fireworks appear! Awesome graphics and the troll at the end looks amazing!!

The quest is called "Trolling in the Deep" (lol) and the prize is a Twilight Troll after you beat it at level 80.

Here are my battles so far. I understand that the creature levels change but they themselves do not.


1 - Level 10 Frostfang. I used my Level 15 pony and got a critical hit on the second attack.
2 - Level 9 Pyro Pony. I used my Level 15 pony and got a critical hit on the first attack.
3 - Level 11 Rock Rhino. I used my Level 15 pony and got a critical hit on the first attack. On my other game I used Sloth (nature) and got a critical hit the first time.
4 - Level 8 Pandaffodil. I used my level 15 pony and it defeated me in the first battle. In the second battle I used my Level 15 pony and got a critical hit on the second attack.
5 - Level 8 Skyger. I used my level 15 pony and had strong attacks but it defeated me in the first battle. In the second battle I used my Level 15 pony and got a critical hit on the first attack.
6 - Level 8 Rainguin. I used my Level 15 pony and had weak hits but defeated it after 4 attacks.
7 - Level 8 Fairy Ferret. I used my level 15 pony and got a critical hit on the second attack.
8 - Level 9 Frostfang. I used my Level 15 pony and got a critical hit on the first attack.
9 - Level 10 Skyger. Used Frostfang to defeat.
10 - Firefox. Used Frostfang to defeat.
11 - Plantlers Used Sloth to defeat.
12 - Turtisle. Used Sloth to defeat.
13 - Rock Rhino. Used Sloth to defeat.
14 - Pyro Pony. Used Lightning Leopard to defeat.
15 - Chromadile. Used Lightning Leopard to defeat.
16 - Pandaffodil. Used Lightning Leopard to defeat, but it took 4 weak attacks to do it.

**If you don't have the particular creature I used... I suggest using your highest level creature that has the same attack I used, such as fire/water/nature/etc... For example, if I used a L/15 Ox's fire attack to win a battle... Try using (if possible, another creature of the same rarity, such as super rare) the Cosmic Phoenix's fire attack.

I believe I have captured most of the weaknesses for each battleground opponent. These are the "strong" attacks used on them. Of course, having a level 15 creature will provide most critical hits despite using the "strong" elemental attack on them.

I only have the one breeding and the egg that was the result of the first breeding but isn't born yet so I can't say. But I'd like to know as well if anyone else has!

So if we got by past battlegrounds ... (yes I know I'm getting way ahead of myself here).

#1 was on rocky ground (iirc?) and we were rewarded with the sloth.
#2 was on icy ground and we were rewarded with the yak.
#3 is on fiery ground and we will get the troll.

Next up - perhaps on dark ground with a new creature?

I tried my Sloth first and it failed miserably so I next tried my Aurora and the first Dark attack was critical but the second was weak. It didn't matter because there was such a small amount of energy on the water creature. I remember water being the most difficult to defeat

If I know a water attack is coming up I usually choose rock against it, but the odds have never been in my favour (haha). I think attacks against water are largely up to luck, to be honest. It feels like it anyway.

I think the level of the battleground opponent must depend on your level, or something else... Because while I did not note the opponent level in all the matches I have played thus far, I just faced a level 12 rainguin for 6, then a level 13 fairy ferret.
