Was so excited when I seen these new Halloween dragons but now 800 gold spent (so far) trying for skeleton. I know it isn't supposed to be easy but jeez, this game sure has a way of taking the wind right out of your sails sometimes lol.

I lost 1000 gold trying for skeleton .. so decided that it might be better to try for pumpkin lost another 500 :P I feel *****ed. I know I didn't know when to quit... I feel stubborn & stupid but lesson was learned.

Can a mod please update the first page with the breeding hours and the egg pic please? I had to surf 11 pages to check the breeding time, lol. Also for some reason i cannot open the egg chart. Can anyone link me to it? Prefferably to the image itself plz...

Yes it's hard to believe some get them on the first or second try!! Hope my luck changes soon!!!

hope everyone is successful, I saw 24 hrs and a few minutes on my timer as well, but it turned into a sunrise when it hit the nest. Was very disappointed, but hey a little patience goes a long way.

Thnks Kooky! placed mine in the nest and it IS the skeleton. With only four fails (2 royals, one genie and a luck) i feel like I got off reeeeal easy. Super rares usually aren't my beach...
Now tried night and titan and got a 18hr timer. Need to check on that.

I know how you feel. Blew 500 gold in one night speeding up all the firestorms, sunrises and lucks while trying for pumpkin and skeleton. Now I'm outta gold and I won't waste anymore. Until I see they are about to be limited I'll take my time. And wait for some more confirmations on pumpkin.

You guys seem to have loads of Gold.
I have about 200 from games and am saving it for the tournament, will come about any time.

Once upon a time....a Few months back, I used to buy 1400 gold every month. Now I just wait for something to finish breeding and get by with gold from the treasure dragons, neighbors and downloading games. This was my first time buying again. And here I said ill ration it out.

Got my skeleton too with angel and trickster. I cannot wait for the tournament! Since YY I haven't bought gold to finish any major rounds. Until Phoenix came along and my matches were reset and I had to if I wanted to finish. Don't consider that buying gold to get ahead per Se, because they refunded what I had to use to skip.

With DA in the mix now, good fighters with Jade, tigers eye, forestfire and landworm I'm ready. Forestfire and Anubis especially have gotten me past ALL the ice dragons I've come across.
