Question what's the advantage of blocking the door?

I see some neighbors have blocked their door? What is the advantage of this if any?

That is unless you want to take the chance and be one of the lucky ones. The ones who block, restock, and never lose their inventory, the very few lucky ones who share the same situation with me.

I block all the time and never once have I lost my stock. Though, this doesn't mean I'm promoting this idea. At least experiment and see if you lose your stock or not. Or you can just nod this off and never attempt to block your doors, ever. It's your choice.

If you do block the door and lose all your stock when you unblock it, support will not be able to help you. This is because blocking the door is not a supported gameplay feature.

I have been checking on my stock when I block my door, and I haven't lost any merchandise yet! Perhaps its a system thing. I know that Androids have more glitches with the "blocking" of certain areas resulting in "broken hearts". I had one of those problems just recently, where nothing was blocked but my customers just didn't want to purchase things because of a nearby divider. Insane. But maybe its those odd glitches that allow some users (or phone systems) to block successfully? Either way, its all up to you if you want to risk it.

Since blocking the door is not part of the design of the game, unexpected things can happen. Some players may be okay but others can end up selling out all their stock quickly when they open the door.

When you open your door again, the consumption that took place while your door was blocked catches up, which is why it looks like you instantly lost all of your items.

If you want to avoid the quick-sell, don't block your door.

I do not know why anyone would ever block their door and take a chance. I've seen lvl 80-something players who always blocked their doors, and never had the bug, until one day it happened to them.

You can easily use furniture and other things to block a space AROUND your door, so customers can come in but not buy anything. It dose not dmg your heart rating to do this, the do not leave with a broken heart. they just have the timer and then leave, so no harm done.

Personally, I put 2 booths, 3 mirrors and one cash register with all the pumps and other gifts up for sale around my doors at night, then I still get some sales, keep my heart rating at 100, and I will never have the bug.
