Any diamond based dragon is weak against diamond based dragon itself...but if you don't have it, try lightning, aether, or mistmoth. Actually crusader was a little beat weaker then later on opponent ( dark angel, helios ). But don't give up before trying ��.Originally Posted by cakeandpie

This is going to sound weird, but if you don't have any ultra-rare dragons, it doesn't matter much what you use against a Crusader-16. Even epic ultras have fairly low odds against this dragon, so your non-ultras may not do terribly worse. Here's an even weirder tip: start fighting it with younger dragons that you can afford to have exhausted. The level 16 outpaces all your dragons to the point where it doesn't matter what level you bring against it. Persistence and luck will beat this dragon for you.
Make sure you save good dragons for the opponents after Crusader.
As long as they put me back where I was at round 9 or give me back the gold I used to speed up between the battles I will be happy. I was having no problem with the tournament but it's good they are fixing it.
They said it would start from the beginning. I was on round 4 and hadnt lost any dragons, so I'm good. For my pearls back too. Using this time to get my diamonds from healing. Crusader did me good the last round.
Well, it sounds like my odds against Crusader are slim, but thanks, sand. Any tips as far as using magic vs. bashing against Crusader? Perhaps my Mindvolt could have defeated it if I'd used a different combo of attacks. I don't know.
I know they said the timer would re-start but nothing about progress.... I will be emailing them for my gold back if they don't put me where I was.
I played the Tournament for my nephew and he doesn't have any Diamonds. I went for rarity so I used Zombie 10 and it kicked Crusader's behind with MM

I gave it more than 250 gold and was on round 30 with YY i wanted it so bad
