Crafting egg in forge

I have the purple dragon egg in the forge and it says to craft it using forge heat. The craft button is greyed out and the treasure chest has a question mark in it. What do I do here?

This to hatch the manticore egg. Dragon eggs are orange, not purple.

About the craft sign being grey, what does it say above the purple egg? If it shows 0/1 like in the pic it means you have no manticore egg in your inventory.

If it says 1/1 and still you can't craft it, try force closing your game, then your ipad and if the problem is still there, then contact team lava.

Thank you. I was looking for this screenshot earlier to tell me which critter it was. I just foolishly didn't pay attention to the numbers.

I am glad it was not a glitch, though
