    Expansion- Gems VS Coins

Hey everyone, just wanted some opinions before I expand! I'm level 99 and I still have a pretty small bakery. I just now have about 10,000,000 coins and 100 gems. My expansion would cost 10,000,000 coins or 80 gems. I earn my gems, I don't buy them so I like to save them for something I really want that coins can't buy. However, though coins are earned, it takes a long time to get that much! I don't want to regret spending all my savings in coins or wasting my gems on it either :/

What have you guys done and what do you think is the best option? Coin expansion or Gem expansion? Should I wait until I have more saved? ALSO! Can I spend the amount on the highest expansion or do I have to buy each one and build up to the biggest?
    Thank you!

You have to do expansions in order

I don't use gems to expand
    My next is 30 mil
If I were you you can expand with coins and save up more until you have more coins and if you still want to use gems use the for the last expansion which takes more coins

It's easier to save 10mil and 30 mil than 60 mil

coins for expansion, gems for stuff. there's very little worthy coin stuff (unless u want the whole bakery in roman tiles lol))))

except, the gem expansion doesn't require neighbors.

..but since you don't purchase gems, it will take a lot of mastering food and drinks to acquire another 80 gems.

My next expansion is also 10 million, and I have a little over 11 million coins and am saving until at least 12 million to expand since you never know when TL will have new goals and those goals can be awfully pricy (some of the past ones cost 2 million plus) and baking everyday costs probably ~300000.

I'm considering saving up 80 gems for my final expansion. My next expansion is 40 million and I'm at 38 million so maybe in another two weeks. Then I might try for gems. It takes me Three months or so to save up 80 gems and about six months to save up 60 million (if I have an efficient layout and leave my game on all the time). Since I don't go for an efficient layout, it'll probably take me 1.5 years to get my final expansion in coins....not worth it.

Right now I'm at 24million coins and I'll probably reach 60million coins in a few light years.

I use coins for expansion. I have just enough for my 8 mil expansion now. It's frustrating because it takes so long to earn coins in this game. I've just kind of resigned myself to the fact that my bakery won't be large for a very long time, if ever. That fact alone keeps me from buying gems for this particular game. My bakery isn't really big enough to fit a lot of displays.

both takes a while to earn, coins and gems. the thing is that you can eventually master all there is to master and have no option to earn gems until another appliance comes out and that's only 2 gems. Coins on the other hand, well even if you spend all you money expanding and have no more food left to sell you can always collect cappuccino gifts and sell them until you make back enough money to cook more food.
So, if you don't plan to buy gems at some point then expand with coins and save you gems until you find something gem worthy. Coins are easier to come by than gems.
