    Install, Uninstall, Reinstall

    I have noticed when people are having technical issues, forum staffers advise people to uninstall and reinstall the apps. Whether this solve any issues or not, is this advice benefiting TeamLava?

    Clearing app data and cache works like uninstalling/reinstalling, correct?

    I just read something on Google.

    User statistics:

    Total user installs - the total number of unique users that have ever installed this app. We only count one install regardless of how many different devices they installed it on. It includes the users who have later uninstalled the app.
    Active user installs - the number of users who have the app currently installed on at least one of their devices.
    Daily user installs - the number of unique users who installed this app for the the first time during that day.
    Daily user uninstalls - the number of unique users who uninstalled the app from all devices during that day.
    Device statistics:

    Active device installs - the number of devices on which the application is currently installed - it excludes any devices where the application was uninstalled.
    Daily device installs - the number of new devices on which the app was installed for the first time during that day.
    Daily device uninstalls - the number of unique devices which uninstalled the app in the past day.
    Daily device upgrades - the number of unique devices upgraded from an older version to the latest version of the app in the past day.

    And this is only Google, other app stores may calculate stats differently.

    I don't use Google's Play Store since it was not available on my Coby Kyros tablet.
    Getjar was preinstalled, but the Coby website switched my model to SlideME which also lacks many apps but have TL games.

    If I can't mention these stores, please explain why. The Cobyusa website is proof that my tablet (Mid7048-4 with Android 4.0.3)) was listed to disable one app store to install another.

    We don't know how the game will perform outside of the intended Markets (Google Play, App Store, Amazon). We recommend if you download the applications from unknown sources that you be careful. We are not responsible for issues that may occur from using outside Markets.

    In regard to when TeamLava staff request a user attempt to reinstall the game as troubleshooting, if there's an issue and the user has an issue with their game files (i.e. maybe it wasn't downloaded correctly, maybe a file was corrupted, etc etc), a fresh install will help resolve and potentially narrow down whether it's with the specific user's app or if it's present in the app in the store that may affect more than one user.
