Oh Darn! Bakery story is an online game....

Can someone please help me, I get this message on all my TL games, but I am definitely on-line bacause I can get to the net, Google etc...

It happens quite a lot, but normally rectifies itself. This time it's not rectified and been like this for about 2 hour2... I've tried disconnecting from the WiFi and re-connecting, I've tried closing the games down and re-opening, I've tried leaving it alone for an hour... I haven't tried hitting it with a hammer yet...

Before I try the latter, does someone have any tips on how to overcome this problem, my food will go off soon :-(

This is the most annoying part of these games for me!

As an additional frustration, I also get notifications like :there is a new message in your message box', or, 'there are new goals', or: 'your fodd is ready to be served', and if I catch these notifications as they appear at the top of the iPad, I'm taken to the same 'Oh Darn!' message, and if I hit 'Try Again', I get the swirly circle for a while followed by the 'Oh Darn!' message again... If the game thinks I'm offline, how cat it send these notifications?? Is this a bug at TL, or a problem with my device??

Does this happen to everyone?

It's an Apple iPad 16GB WIFI WH, if that answers the question... quite recently purchased...

How do I check that the most current version is installed? I installed the game about 3 weeks ago...

Is you IPad a 1, 2, 3, or 4?
If a new one, look under your settings-general-software update and make sure your IOS version is 6.1.3.

For the Bakery game the most current version is 1.6.5 - The regular Bakery game.
You can check the version of the game on your game under menu-help- small number at the bottom of the screen.

It's an iPad 2 (I had to call customer support to ask because none of the paperwork mentioned it!)... Anyway, I'll have a look re the other stuff later, not got the device on me at the moment!

I'm playing on iOS and I'm having the same problem this morning. I'm playing on the most recent version of the game. I have internet service, but cannot play Bakery Story. Just keep getting the "Oh darn!" message and spinning circle. I reinstalled BS, but that didn't help. Help!!

I get this often even though I downloaded the latest version. All I do is turn the WiFi on my device off and then on again. Works like a charm every time.
