How do you move floor tiles in your bakery?

I placed colored floor tiles in the wrong position and can't figure out how to move them.

the only way I have figured out to do it, is to put a white tile down in place of it. Then the colored tile will go back into your storage and you just put it where you want.

The only way to move floor tiles is to place another down on top of it, of a different style. This puts the tile that was on your floor into your inventory. You can then 'move' the tiles around to fit the pattern you want.
