Best way to make money?

I'm having some money trouble in Castle Story, I'm lvl 10 and have all the buildings I can build at that level. But it looks like it's going to take ages to save up 37000 for the Keep :S

Anyone found an efficient way to make money? Multiple farm houses/cottages or?

As this is an energy restrictive game, you should try to get the max coins per tap. So collect from your resources, royal and cottage when they are ready. Also, at your level Hot Peppers are good for coins overnight and you get strawberries at lvl 11 which are a great 1hr crop for coins.

grow carrots...I saved up over 200000 just by growing carrots

Just do the quests and make the max farms you can.
I never faced any money problem till my current level of 11.8

Looking at Maguar's guide - grow corn 3 mins or tomatoes 10 mins for best cash return.

I'm now at level 24 and got my 4th knowledge shard yesterday, but i need 100,000 coins fast to do the research. Can anyone tell me what's the fastest way to make cash at this level?
