Once your food is done how long do you have to serve your food before it spoils? In FS it takes as long as the ordering time. Is it the same in BS?

Yes I presume it is the same. The amount of time it takes for the food to spoil is the same amount of time it took for it to cool.
Its a little longer for shorter recipes, but I don't have a formula. I started up Bakery Story this morning about 4.5 hrs after I started making the 2 hr candy cane cake, and it was still okay. Earlier this week I had spoiled candy cane cake after I checked on them about 6 hrs after I started making them.
Ya it's the same amount of time it takes to cook example If u cook candy apples which take 2 hours after there done they'll stay fresh 4 2 hrs and then they'll start to mould. Hope this helps![]()
I had read somewhere that it was about half as long as it takes to make it. Seems about right to me.
I've come back to find food spoiled when I was within 1 hour of when it should have been, and then I've woken up late in the AM thinking "oh no, my food is going to be bad and I spent hours waiting for it", just to log in and find it fine.
Whenever I place something to cook, or in the catalog in FS, I make a note of when it will be due. I can't count on notifications always working and this way I can get a pretty good idea of when I have to get something before it spoils. I always try to make sure I'm within a half-hour on awake time hours and within an hour on sleep time hours. Most of my foods/clothes are multiple hours long, so this usually saves me from anything being spoiled.
Crazy question. Your food finishes cooking and you put the serving dome over it on the stove but do not serve. Does that save or protect it from spoiling? In doing the goals, I sometimes get ahead of myself in planning for the next phase. Wondering if that buys me time while finishing previous phase.
Good to know! Thanks for quick reply.
