When you tap to buy the sushi counter, avoid the hammer icon.
Tap as you would when you buy any other item. Do not tap on the hammer, it only brings up the popup you are seeing.
It is 1x2, so make sure you have space to place it.

I believe android players now have the sushi counter. Have you checked the marketplace to see if you have the most current update for RS?

I just checked the market place and it gives me the option to open or uninstall so i guess that means there are no new updates. Is that correct? or do I need to go somewhere else? I am SO NOT tech savey
