Idevice users (for the most part) got free gifts for downloading the halloween versions of farm, fashion, and restaurant stories. When they downloaded farm story, a lot were given seven free gems as well. Other than the weekly updates and the RS deep fryer, I believe all new content has been delayed on Android, and Android users have not been compenstated with gems, gifts, or anything for the delayed releases, which are anywhere from 2 to 4 months or more from the iOS releases. The grass is always greener on the other side, so if you would like to be on the other side, Android users would be happy to switch with you.
I have experienced the same. And I second this. Someone should do a chart of feature disparity per platform so its clear.
So far none of my nbrs have gotten an offer either for downloading Bakery Halloween.

Nope I didn't get an offer either. I've been waiting for pop up with gift with gem purchase. Had it once today and closed it too fast, haven't had it since. I'm planning a purchase but really want that gift offer. The one time I want a pop up I'm not getting it...lol

It is now against apple policies to allow users to recieve free gifts for trying other apps. They made this change a few months ago. There is no free gem offers for apple users anymore!!
Apple doesn't allow this anymore, that is why another app - one that caters much better to the users when it comes to the special game currency and winning small bundles of it - was removed from the App Store and it took a month to get a new game back to replace the original. I lost 1 of my 3 games because of it.
Apple is stupid for this because their rank system is based on the more downloads an app gets the better it must be. This had never been true, they should only base it off of the ratings - you'll find a lot of the top 50 downloaded apps have horrible ratings. If an app is free, more people will download to find out how good or bad it is.
I do have an android as well I just got it about a month ago with my phone upgrade. And I downloaded BS and right there was a free gem offer for downloading RS. the reason I haven't switched is because my android phone started freezing and needs to be repaired.
