Is ice cream machine worth it?

I mean first you lose an appliance until you complete it, then you have to use all of your gifts to build it, and then the are only a few recipes but since its difficult to build the ice cream machines it will take a long time to master the recipes, so what are the pros and cons? Is it worth it?

Well yes, you're right that it takes up an appliance space until it's created, and that you need to collect materials, but it offers you new masteries that can earn you 2 gems each.

I guess it depends what stage of the game you're at. At some point you would have mastered most of the food and drinks, your bakery is at its maximum size, you don't have much use of your gazillion coins, and it'd be a good time to start making ice cream so you can earn those gems. Hopefully TL will add some new ice cream recipes from time to time.

Besides, the ice cream makers are pretty.

You don't have to use your gifts. You can request your neighbors to send you parts. You can get 20 parts per day from requests, and can accept parts or food as gifts, which is still 20 per day

you can also start receiving parts as gifts before you even have the machine. once you buy it then, you already have some of the parts. this way you can build it within a day. its paint, screw, gear and knob. just write a message to the neighbors.

i would say the machine is short time fun as it seems there are no new recipes coming. however, you have the two hour spumoni which are quite good gain per hour if you look at the spreadsheet.

I think their great especially as you get so much of one ice cream for example the Spumoni takes 2 hours and profit is around 4k which isn't bad I make these every 2 hours and I end up with lots of them which keeps my bakery running , doesn't take long to request items with many neighbours. I now have two ice cream makers 
