Does the amount of tables that you have affect how much money you earn? Is there a minimum that I should have?

Your happiness rating affected how mang people come in at once. Once you have 30 accessible chairs and tables, no customers will be angry over that. However, more tables means more space for tips.

I don't really get a lot of tips or it might seem that way because I check it every couple of hours lol

Correct. As long as you have food, 100 happiness and at least 30 tables you make the same. For high star rating players, extra tables can be essential so as not to immediately fill up.

It is not enough to have 30 tables, they also need chairs associated with each of those tables. You can add many more tables, but those 30 must be accessible to your customers. Your neighbors and visitors can randomly tip any empty table.
