I just had my iPhone 4 replaced with a new one. I wish I knew whatever a UDID was because I only have my replacement phone's UDID at this point, not the old device's. I know both of my storm8 ID's. Is there any way I can have my restaurant and city replaced without the UDID?! Please help!!! I was level 48 &I realllyyy don't want to start over!
sorry, i JUST transferred my games yesterday to my new ipod touch (this thing works FAST) but, uh, yeah. you needed both UDID's. if you still have the old device download an application called UDID sender in the App Store. once you do just open the app, and press email UDID. email this to yourself. on your new device download the same thing and do the same steps. on Teamlava's website, just copy and paste the old device's UDID in the FIRST bar. then copy and paste the new device's UDID in the SECOND bar. then type the level of the GAME YOUR TRANSFERRING! (ex. i'm on level 35 City Story, then i choose 35 and City Story in the drop down menu) then press transfer account. This will be instantly done, then sync the applications onto your new device, then you should see everything looks the same as it did on the old device! YOU MUST RECORD THE UDID OF THE OLD DEVICE. without it, you cant transfer.
with one transfer of the game, it will transfer ALL other games too.
without the other device UDID, ur screwed. i'm sorry.
i feel ur pain, cuz i didnt want to start over either. i asked teamlava if there was a way to log onto a different iDevice, and they told me transfer your account. but this was right when account transferring came out.
No, you can still transfer without the UDID. There are two sticky threads on how to do it. 1. Email support. 2. Install another storm8 (but not TL) game, play a few level, then log in with your storm8 id and password. That will also transfer.
Whenever you are having issues, try these two things first - restart your device,

Hi. I'm having a crisis. I just replaced my daughter's ipod Touch 2 gen and they already sent the old device to the recycling center. I accidentally created a new storm 8 id on her new device by not entering one number. How do I log in with her old id now?
Does this work for TL games? Sorry for my ignorance. I'm kind of under a time crunch to get back on my daughter's account before she starts losing points.
I think you might need to email support. I'm guessing they're closed today, but should be able to help first thing tomorrow. If you dl something like mofia wars (I think) and try entering the storm id from the old device, it should work, but I'm not sure if you have logged in under another.
