SpiritWind, I started Part III of Confronting the Darkness. Below is my first goal.
Visit Ivy's Hut 0/1
Visit Rizzl 0/1

This is different from the goals listed on the first page. I must say that I am finding this storyline to be very challenging due to all the glitches. I hope that it all gets resolved pretty quickly, as I notice that many of us are getting frustrated.
I am skipping the Goop event, and will concentrate on finishing this storyline. Many thanks for being a wonderful sounding board for all of us players!

Thanks Stymie! OMG you're right... I missed a goal in the material they sent me. I'll add that now. The rest should be ok as I did a quick sweep of the goals again.

I still have a little bit more info to add in P3 yet, but this week has been pretty overwhelming. Will probably spend some time on it over the weekend if I can.

I am going to have a massive cleanup of this thread once this is resolved, so get ready for the thread to shrink by at least half! Bugs and Issues cannot and should not fill up a Discussion thread or it makes it much harder for future players who begin this storyline (not to mention the extra work it creates for me).

Lol, SW, well, it?s not like you have much else to do other than make it so much easier for everyone on the forum ;-).And if the 7 dayers only drop 10 energy, I won?t get too excited��. 5 golden eggs for some energy, off to storage it will go.

I just did a bone headed humongous mistake 🤦🏻*♀️ I figured I would see where I stood with the last expansion and gave the bows and compasses and then I put in the torches that I need to get the 30 day reward. I was tired and didn?t realize how what I was doing until it was done. I had 23 and now need all 30 instead of only 7.

If you want to gather materials for this quest more quickly, you can spend 150 GEMS to purchase the Dark Elven Rider!

Just figured out that if you buy Dark Elven Thorns for 25 coins, you have 10 chances to get Dark Elvenessence, instead of the cost for Willows, or other trees, and having to wait until they mature from sapling. I find the drops are fairly frequently! Not sure if this has already been posted?

Are you referring to "giving" items in the Expansion square? I've been doing it & haven't "lost" anything. Once you "give" them to the Expansion, they are removed from your Inventory, they now show up in the Expansion. Just like giving things ahead in any type of Expansion.

I'm guessing they gave the torches for the expansion that is required in Part 3 before they had collected 30 torches needed to complete Part 2. Not a huge issue since you will still need the torches for Part 3 any way and still plenty of time to get the 30 torches again for Part 2.
