Goal Information - The Love Shack
And a very huge thank you to my amazing friend BiggerBubbles for sharing the dialogue info with me (offline) so I can provide it to you all!

Notes: When you purchase the Love Shack in the market for 500 gems during the February 2025 sales, the following goals are triggered
* The Love Shack comes as a constructable crafting building. Building requirements are 15 wood and 15 stone.
* Once you build the Love Shack, the goals will appear in your goal book
* There are many separate goals in your goal book
* Each goal has its own goal name
* The goal format is not a 'step by step' process, you can do them concurrently. They are written here grouped together with ones with inter-dependencies

* You do not need to purchase the gem animals to get the resources. You can craft the resources in the Love Shack

Spire of Love
* If you are unable to buy and place the Spire of Love, you have reached the Royal Building cap. You must sell other Royal buildings to buy the Spire of Love. I'd go for other watchtowers and spires as they aren't used in goals and when they are then the timer is only 4 hours. Once you're under the cap you can buy and then build the spire. Check your Royal Building count in-game of your profile screen. The cap is currently 50, so if your profile screen shows more than 50 then you need to sell however many it will take to be under the cap (49).

Valentine Flower and Tree Crafts
* The Valentine Botany craft will produce a random valentine plant - this craft will drop Amourous Reeds, Flowering Bush, Fluttermush Ring, Lustweed, Pink-Flower Penstemon, Playful Trillium, Romantic Larkspur, Sprite Blossoms, Talinum Incarnadine (flowers)
* The Valentine Forestry craft will produce a random valentine tree - Heartbloom, Kissing Willow, Lovepuff

* This dialogue appears when you purchase the Love Shack and then several new goals all appear in your book at once.
Ruler: Thomas... do you feel strange at all?
Old Thomas: Not at all. I'm normal as ever! This morning I went about my usual routine. I wrote in my journal...organized my scrolls...and spent about three hours cutting my spare parchment into heart-shapes! Oh dear. I suppose that last one is a bit strange.
Ruler: Something is going on, alright. The wood is getting all lovely-dovey.
Old Thomas: We should build a place to store and test anything related to these events.
Ruler: Like a laboratory?

Goal: Eager Thomas
Old Thomas: Now that we have our Love Shack, we'll need materials to test with! I haven't been this excited since we built the Workshop!
Ruler: I'm glad you're excited, but-
Old Thomas: We could design a Love Lantern. Or a Love Fountain. Or a Love... Telescope!
Ruler: Aren't you a little worried about the unexplained changes to our kingdom?
Old Thomas: The what now?
Ruler: The weird stone and wood. The pink and purple trees. Not to mention, your newfound desire to cut out hundreds of parchment hearts.

Old Thomas: Oh yes - that. Don't fret - with enough materials, we'll get to the bottom of this mystery.

Goal: A Monument to Love
Old Thomas: So, are you ready to construct a Spire of Love?
Ruler: Spire of Love? I thought we were just doing research.
Old Thomas: But I "was" investigating! And in doing so I became inspired! The pink stone and wood seem to have an intoxicating effect!
Ruler: That would explain a lot.
Old Thomas: As I studied, I was overcome with an urge to lovingly hug things! As it turned out, the only nearby creature was a cow. That situation quickly became awkward for all concerned.
Ruler: Riiiiiight...
Old Thomas: Afterward, inspiration struck me and I drew up plans for a Spire, on the spot!

Old Thomas: I imagine it as a splendid place, with romantic views from the pinnacle. A fine monument to all manner of affectionate feelings.

Old Thomas: Let's see. A textured railing for the balcony...flower arrangements for the interior staircase...perhaps we could even install a violinist at the apex!
Ruler: Thomas! Are you still obsessing over that Spire of Love?
Old Thomas: Err...no.
Ruler: ... Ok, yes. What am I going to do with you? At this rate, we'll never solve this mystery!
Old Thomas: I promise! just a few improvements to the Spire and we'll be back on track.
Ruler: Oh, very well. You're lucky I like you.
Old Thomas: Oh, wonderful! I'll be right back with the plans!
Ruler: ... (Things are getting stranger and stranger around here...)

Old Thomas: Some additional stone here, a dab of paint there - it's really nothing complicated. And the results will render it even more Royal than before!

Goal: An Unwelcome Guest
Baron: Well, look at this! I must say, I didn't expect such a drastic result! The power of love is truly astounding!
Ruler: What are you talking about! Did you have something to do with this?
Baron: Allow me to answer that impertinent question by telling a story. A few nights ago, I was in a state of worry. My coronation is coming soon - but despite my many fine qualities, the foolish peasants of the land do not all love me! I've ordered additional floggings and jailings, but nothing seems to change their minds!
Ruler: Go figure.
Baron: Well, I decided to take matters into my own hands and *make* them love me. I called my court magician and ordered him to prepare a fantastic spell!
Ruler: But don't you see? You can't *force* people to love you. That's not how love works!
Baron: Nonsense. Look at all these amazing results! Love is everywhere!
Ruler: But it's not real love. It's just magic. You must understand that without free will?
Baron: *cough* What? I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention. Now, where is my royal tribute? I expect you and your people will have prepared a fine Valentine's Day gift for me?
Ruler: If I give you a tribute, will you tell me how to undo the spell?
Baron: Maybe.

Baron: I believe a finely-crafted scepter would make a suitable tribute. Make sure you fill it with all the loving feelings you have for me!

Ruler: Oh, come on!
Baron: Now, now. Prove your love for me and I'll tell you how to lift the spell. Valentines! Chocolates! Flowers! They're what love is all about!
Ruler: That's not what love is about at all.

Baron: I feel secure about my place of prominence in all your hearts if you'd build a few things in my honor! Name it all after me, of course.

Ivy: I heard a rumor that the animals at the Love Shack are giving away chocolate!
Ruler: It seems like it. Let's figure out what magic is at work and -

Ivy: We have pink cows giving out free chocolate and *you* want to stop it?

Goal: The Love Solution
Baron: So, are you ready to recite all the Valentines from my loving subjects?
Ruler: Yep! Got them all right here!
Baron: Alright, you may begin when ready. Read the first Valentine!
Ruler: "Dear Baron Pfefferknot, I am writing this from the jail you threw me into. I miss you! I wish you were right here beside me! In jail."
Baron: What!? Read the next one!
Ruler: "Dear Baron Pfefferknot. Roses are red, violets are blue... Skunkupines stink, and so do you. Happy Valentines Day."
Baron: Of all the impertinence! On to the next one! Quickly!
Ruler: "Dearest Baron, I really want to tell you how you've improved my life and how I love you..."
Baron: This is more like it!
Ruler: "... but you haven't, so I can't."
Baron: Blast it! That stupid court magician! The spell didn't make people love me at all!
Ruler: So, will you finally tell me how to get rid of it?

Baron: Oh, very well! The love magic can only be absorbed by special stones designed for that purpose. I will show you how to construct them.
Goal: The Love Solution

Congratulations: Baron: That crystal should serve to absorb the "Love Magic" in the woods.

Goal: A Loving Feast
Baron: If you intend to send your knights on this errand, you can't feed them any old slop. Rather, you should feed them a slightly higher grade of slop! I suggest old cabbages, maybe some snouts. Any moss you can find would be great.
Ruler: Yeah, how about "no?" Let's set our sights a little higher. We'll give them a treat to show that we care. Lots of chocolate, and plenty of milk!

Baron: Chocolate, you say? I think i might...hang around...as you prepare this feast. just to sample the goods. For quality, you understand.
Goal: A Loving Feast

Baron: Ask your brave Knights to venture into the woods, each holding a crystal. The crystals will absorb the magic, and all should be back to normal. You *do* have brave knights, don't you? All the best rulers have them!

Baron: Not only will this remove the Love Magic, but your knights may find other items of interest on their adventure!
Goal: Lifting the Spell

Baron: You have to admit this - while it lasted, the spell did encourage people to love.
Ruler: Maybe, but do you understand yet why you can't just force people to love?
Baron: I've learned an important lesson. Gifts, flowers and chocolates are nice, it's true... but they have no meaning without something true and special behind them.
Ruler: Now you're getting it!
Baron: And that something is... commerce! Doing stuff just out of kindness is for nuns and beet farmers!
Ruler: You're completely hopeless.

* These adventures drop Sacred Horns and Sacred Wings:
- Search the Ancient Vaults
- Hunt Roaming Bandits
- Explore Dark Caves
- Traverse the Desert Sands
- Dispel the Love Magic

* All of these adventures can drop sacred horns and sacred wings in the Queens Court/Kings Keep, Barracks and Haunted Keep except for Dispel the Love Magic which can ONLY be done in the Queens Court/Kings Keep (original or Gothic versions)

* The sacred horns and wings are very rare drops!

* Collect from Thurston's Fort to trigger this goal (not guaranteed)

Ruler: Oh, hi there Ivy. Were you looking for Thurston?
Ivy: Yeah. Since this whole 'love spell' thing started he's been shuttered up in his house. I just wanted to check on him.

Ivy: According to what I've read, the rarest steed in the land is the mystic Alicorn! It's a horned, winged horse that is said to never get tired!
Ruler: An Alicorn? Aren't those a myth?
Ivy: Not according to this book I found! It'll just take a little fancy alchemy. All the Alicorns in this land are long gone. But, if we find a Sacred Wing and Sacred Horn, we can summon one back!
Ruler: Where are we going to find a Sacred Wing and Sacred Horn?
Ivy: Well, unfortunately they're not just lying around. They're very rare. But, they do exist. We'll just need to send our Knights out on Adventures.

Ivy: Sacred Horn and Sacred Wing are very rare. As our knights travel the land, we will have to hope they can find these items and bring them back.

Goal: A Letter To Agnes
Ruler: Hey, Thomas. Now that the love spell is lifted, I thought I would check on you.
Old Thomas: I feel much improved. Though I am a bit embarrassed. I haven't behaved like that since I was a student!
Ruler: You were in love with someone when you were a student?
Old Thomas: Oh yes. Her name was Agnes. She was a library assistant and scholar. We stayed many late nights in the library, and shares notes and research. I was studying the weather, and she was working to become a chemist.
Ruler: When did you know you were in love with her?
Old Thomas: With Agnes? Almost immediately. But I didn't tell her. I was very shy. One day, I thought I could predict the weather would be clear! I told her: "Agnes, leave your umbrella at home! I'm sure it will be sunny and mild." So, she did. And it rained all morning. She got soaked on the way in!
Ruler: Oh, no! Was she angry?
Old Thomas: No. She was more worried about me feeling bad for my research failing.
Ruler: That's very sweet.
Old Thomas: As the rain cleared, we sat on the library steps and watched a rainbow appear. For the first time, she squeezed my hand, and I squeezed back. She said "Thomas, from now on, if there's a rainbow, let's watch it together."
Ruler: That's very romantic. Is that when you became a couple?
Old Thomas: Oh, we never became a couple.
Ruler: What? But it seems like you liked each other so much!
Old Thomas: We did. I think. But she was busy with her research, and I with mine... Eventually she moved away to continue her studies.
Ruler: Did you ever tell her how you felt? That you loved her?
Old Thomas: No. I almost did, just as she was leaving. But...I couldn't get up the nerve.
Ruler: Thomas! You should write her a letter!

Old Thomas: A letter to Agnes? It's been nearly 40 years! I don't know if she would even remember me, or where to send it. Unless... the library might have some information, I suppose.

Ruler: Do your scrolls know that she hasn't seen you in forty years?

Old Thomas: Perhaps if we prepare a very nice gift basket, I could include the letter with it. My research indicates that should go over well.

Old Thomas: I know, I know. I'm just very nervous about what she's written.
Ruler: Thomas, it'll be ok. I promise.
Old Thomas: Very well. I suppose I knew you'd say that. her goes nothing...
Agnes: "Dear Thomas, I'm happy to hear from you after all of these years. I'm glad you are well. The perfumed flower petals made me sneeze, and the chocolate is a bit much for my digestion at this age. Did a scroll tell you to send those things? They seem unlike you. What I could really use are materials to build a telescope! No matter what you've sent, it's your kindness I remember. And the rainbow.

Ruler: Telescope parts? It really IS a match made in heaven.
Old Thomas: But, she didn't like the flowers and chocolates!
Ruler: That's because you're not being *you*! Write her back and just be yourself!

Do you remember all those nights together in the library? I surely do. As proud as I am of my work, I wonder what life would have been like if we had made more time for other things? Who knows? Perhaps there's still time.

Old Thomas: Hold on, there's a post-script.
Agnes: "PS: I've enclosed a list of several old books I need for a collection. Do you still know your way around a library?"
Old Thomas: Then she wrote some manner of strange runic symbol below that.
Ruler: Runic symbol? ... Thomas, that's a smiley face.
Old Thomas: Oh. Of course.

Old Thomas: This list of books contains some rarities. She always was fond of reading. Perhaps I could track some of them down?

Work, or otherwise. It's be worth it just to hear what you've been up to these last 40 years!

Old Thomas: Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh...she's invited me to visit! What do I do?
Ruler: Well, what do you want to do?
Old Thomas: I... I don't know! Of course I'd like to see her and tell her that I...well... you know. But it's many weeks by wagon. And I've sworn to aid you as Royal Scholar!
Ruler: Thomas, I release you from your promise to say. Don't let that keep you. If you love her, you should go to her.

Old Thomas: I'm not sure what I should do. Let me think about it while we gather the Glimmerdust she's requested. In either case, she should have that.
