Dragon Tales 10/11/24: Tricky Treat

Greetings Fellow Caretakers,

Here are the simplified directions to complete the first October Dragon Tales event, called Tricky Treat, the second event for Spooky October. Not only are the chapters and acts listed, I also put in the supplies needed and how many times the Hag Dragon has to be sent on missions. I hope it helps all of you to get the Carrion Dragon. With no further ado, here's the chapters and I divided them up by levels.

Note: You can level up the Hag, Dracul and Haunt Dragons to their required levels early and they will count. For most players Hag needs to be at level 14, Dracul to level 12 and Haunt to level 6.

***If you are below level 80, then look at your level listing to see required levels for your dragons.***

Note: You can breed Haunt Dragon early (breed black and yellow) and it will count when asked in Chapter 6.

Note: Got it on the first try, shockingly, breeding Gold (diamond, yellow) and Night Elf (black). Below is the egg.

Note: For anyone who has difficulty breeding the common dragon for Dragon Tales events, you can skip the acts where that dragon is required for a total of 112 Gold.

Note: The requirement for Chapter 6 involving hatching the common dragon requires breeding the elements to get the dragon and then hatching it. The egg will not be in your storage. What I mean is, for example, in this Dragon Tales, it says hatch a Haunt Dragon. In order to do that, you have to breed dragons (one that has a black element with one that has a yellow element) in order to get a Haunt egg on the nest.

Note: You must have the Noble Crystal placed on your island in order to level your dragons past level 10. This is needed to participate in the Dragon Tales event. It's available in the market for 1000 coins.

Note: Candy Jacks are the material collected to craft the ultra rare October dragon, Skelly (spooky, white, red). 25,000 Candy Jacks are needed to craft Skelly. This Dragon Tales event will provide 4,140 of them to Caretakers level 32 or higher.

Note: The Duskhound Tournament will provide 1217 Candy Jacks if completed.

To My Fellow Caretakers,

I thank all of you for your support for the last couple of years. This thread may be the last thread I create in the forum as I may delete Dragon Story forever within the next 48 hours. I'm going to be as constructive as I can with this. I'm missing a Hag Marker in this event and cannot progress past Chapter 2. I did everything I could as instructed to send a ticket in but got no response. Then I contacted another source and was basically told nothing can be done about it. Now I ask the question, how can I get to the end of chapter 2 without 2 Hag Markers if it weren't the game's error? Shouldn't someone be able to fix this or give me the Hag Dragon itself? After all of the time I invested in helping in the forums and money invested into this game I get, "we can't help you?" That's messed up.
For the last almost 5 years, a few players haven't been able to log into the game. 5 Years! We get updates saying the team is working on it but, with the response I got with missing a lowly Hag Marker and the years of lockouts, I question this.
I've been supportive of this game even when others would put DS down in this forum and other online forums but I'm about tired of it all.
As I say, Fellow Caretakers, this may be the last instructional thread I do in these forums and it's sad Storm8 may lose another player. It'll all depend on if there's a correction in their technical error or not.
I greatly appreciate all of the feedback to make the instructional threads more understandable and to the mods past and present who have been helpful throughout the years I've been a forum member. All of you I've mentioned have been great. I wish all of you the best of luck in the future and I hope Dragon Story does get fixed one day or all of us are told Dragon Story is a dead game.

UPDATE: I'm officially retiring from Dragon Story and creating further forum threads. Nothing was done about my missing Hag Marker. In the Dragon Tales threads, I always stated to contact support if there's issues like this but, with my experience, I will not advise anyone to do that anymore because it would be like lying to all of you and I can't do that. Now I'm not telling you all who play to stop playing. It's a great game and I hope the long awaited fix comes to those who are locked out but I can't continue. I did have something similar happen at one point and I just ended up having to purchase the necessary dragon. Perhaps this is no longer an option for you on this one Or it is beside the point?; but just in case it may get you to hang around still and also continue to help
